Who we are

Our desire is to be people who follow Jesus and love all people to Christ as family on mission.

Serving the Local Church in a Global Context

God put in our hearts a love for the local church and a love for the nations. We are excited to combine these two loves by fulfilling a calling to pastor Lusaka Community Church in Lusaka, Zambia. We will lead a local church and provide pastoral care and leadership to teachers, business leaders, doctors, missionaries, non-profit leaders, and many others who are from all over the world and from all different walks of life. We are excited to step into our official roll, but also excited to share the love of Christ with our neighbors and in under-resourced communities. We feel honored and humbled to get to be a part here on earth of what we see in Revelation 7 “After this I saw a vast crowd, too great to count from every nation and tribe and people and language, standing in front of the throne and before the lamb.”

Some of our friends and family have asked how they can support us as we take this next step of faith in our life of ministry. And we desire to have a team of people joining us in our work with LCC. We are blessed to be the full-time paid pastor at LCC. However, both the church and we recognize that what they can pay today may not meet up with our financial needs in Zambia. Neither they, nor we, are looking for our role to be a fundraising role. We hope the resources available to the church will grow with some stability we will provide.

In the meantime, we have taken a first step to allow you to partner with us in our work in Lusaka. Modern Day Missions is an organization in the US that we have partnered with that will make it possible for you to support our work financially and receive possible tax benefits. You can use their system to set up one time or repeating contributions to our family as we do this ministry.
